Role Description

We are seeking a freelance PostgreSQL Expert (remote, temporary) to join our team as a consultant. The expert will be responsible for designing and structuring our database tables, advising on best practices, and assisting with the initial system setup on our servers.

Qualifications

  • 5–6+ years of hands-on experience with PostgreSQL database management, tuning, and optimization
  • Strong expertise in designing and implementing scalable database systems
  • Deep understanding of PostgreSQL internals (beyond standard usage)
  • Proficiency in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries
  • Experience in database maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting
  • Strong knowledge of 
    data security best practices

Preferred/Bonus Skills

  • Expertise in Python backend development (FastAPI)
  • Experience with AWS services (S3, Aurora, Secrets Manager)
