About the Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking IT Manager to lead our IT department. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the company's IT operations, including security, automation, AI-driven initiatives, and end-user support. You will manage a team of IT professionals, including members located in both Israel and the US, ensuring seamless collaboration and high-quality IT service delivery worldwide.This position is based in our Tel Aviv, Israel office.
What you'll do:
- Lead and mentor a team of 6 IT professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Manage and support a distributed team, including US-based members, ensuring effective communication and alignment across time zones.
- Oversee IT security operations, including endpoint protection, SASE solutions, and compliance with cybersecurity best practices.
- Drive IT automation and AI initiatives to optimize workflows, improve service delivery, and scale IT capabilities.
- Implement and manage automation platforms such as Workato and Zapier to enhance system integrations and streamline processes.
- Manage IT helpdesk and support functions, ensuring a high level of service for on-site and remote employees across multiple branch offices.
- Oversee administration and optimization of core SaaS platforms (Google Workspace, Slack, Jira, Zoom, MDM, Cloud VPN, etc.).
- Manage and optimize network infrastructure, including FortiGate firewalls, Wi-Fi, and LAN environments.
- Maintain effective IT asset management processes, ensuring accurate tracking, lifecycle management, and availability of hardware/software resources.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to assess business needs and implement scalable, secure technology solutions.
- Develop IT policies, procedures, and documentation to ensure compliance, business continuity, and operational excellence.
What you'll need:
- 8+ years of IT experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial or team lead role.
- Proven experience leading IT operations in a fast-paced, global environment.
- Strong expertise in IT security operations and best practices.
- Hands-on experience with IT automation, AI-driven tools, and process optimization.
- Experience with automation and integration platforms (Workato, Zapier, or similar).
- Proficiency in SaaS systems administration (Google Workspace, MDM solutions, Slack, Jira, Zoom, VPNs, etc.).
- Experience managing and troubleshooting network infrastructure (FortiGate firewalls, Wi-Fi, LAN).
- Strong IT asset management and vendor management experience.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to manage remote teams and collaborate across departments.
- Security-focused mindset with the ability to balance business agility and risk mitigation.
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal, with strong cross-cultural communication skills.
