The position is based at the Center of Excellence located in Asunción (Paraguay).

 Accountant will be responsible for Balance Sheet, P&L statement and reporting of the America´s assigned countries / legal entities.

 Will report to the General Legder Team Leader, collaborate with other colleagues, and work closely with Corporate Accounting and other corporate functions.

 Main responsibilities

·       Reconcile balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy.

·       Determine and book costs, accruals, provisions.

·       Analyze P&L accounts and variations.

·       Corporate and management reporting.

·       Actively work on month-end-closing activities.

·       Teamwork with colleagues and other corporate and business functions.

·       Perform and communicate assigned SOX controls.

·       Improve General Ledger and reporting activities to enhance efficacy and efficiency.

Job requirements

·       Technical: degree in Accounting.

·       Experience: 3-5 years of accounting experience, mainly in multinational companies.

·       Soft skills: Analytical. Critical thinking. Problem-solving. Assertive communication.

·       Languages: English. Spanish. Portuguese (highly required).
