Position: System Engineer – Responsible for System-Wide Configuration and Continuous Improvement

Role Purpose:
This position involves responsibility for all system-wide configurations and their implementation, alongside ongoing efforts to improve system performance. The role includes coordinating requirements with software and hardware departments, as well as verifying and validating various assemblies under the engineer's responsibility.

Job responsibilities:

  • Technical lead of development activities for complex multidisciplinary Semiconductors Metrology Tools and Modules
  • Definition of Hardware and Software requirements, high-level Design and inter-system Interfaces. Driving implementation of these by Functional teams
  • Leading Integration activities
  • Design and perform hands-on experiments
  • Troubleshooting and identification of system failures
  • Working with Development teams, Operations, Sub-contractors, Suppliers and Customers

Work Interfaces:

  • Internal Interfaces:
    Development departments, operations, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.
  • External Interfaces:
    Clients, suppliers, and occasional travel abroad for on-site system support.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering
  • Master's degree – Advantage
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Systems Engineering, with a focus on large scale, multidisciplinary systems
  • Minimum 5 years of industry experience
  • Experience in the semiconductors industry – Strong Advantage
  • Experience developing Metrology Tools - Strong Advantage
  • X-ray based Metrology - Advantage
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Independence with a proactive approach
  • English fluency, both oral and written
  • Willingness to travel abroad occasionally
