The Team

You'll join a lean, high-impact engineering team building a scalable AI engine that processes millions of construction plans to construct a comprehensive construction knowledge graph. We're on a mission to build an intelligent system that understands construction at massive scale. This is a unique opportunity to work with the speed and creativity of a startup while leveraging the resources, customer access, and market reach of a multi-billion dollar global enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure (AWS) supporting high-volume document processing
  • Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines for both application code and ML model deployments
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools
  • Manage containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS) for microservices and ML workloads
  • Design and implement monitoring, logging, and alerting systems for distributed applications
  • Establish model monitoring systems tracking accuracy, latency, resource utilization, and business metrics
  • Manage secrets, certificates, and access control across development and production environments

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or cloud infrastructure
  • Strong proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and associated services
  • Expertise in containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration at scale
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
  • Proficiency in CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins) and deployment automation
  • 2+ years of experience with ML model deployment and production ML systems

Preferred Qualifications

  • Understanding of ML model monitoring, drift detection, and automated retraining
  • Experience with GPU computing and CUDA optimization
  • Experience with compliance frameworks (SOC 2, GDPR, industry-specific regulations)
