About the Role
We're looking for a strategic and passionate R&D Lead to head our Israel R&D operations
.
You'll lead a talented team, drive innovation and renovation agendas, manage product development, and ensure regulatory compliance across categories. This is a high-impact leadership role with strong cross-functional and global collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead R&D strategy, innovation, and product development
- Manage complexity, cost optimization, and regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with global R&D and local stakeholders (Marketing, Supply Chain, Legal, etc.)
- Engage with external partners (Ministry of Health, academia, startups)
- Oversee lab and factory trials, documentation, and portfolio improvements
- Represent Unilever in professional forums and associations
What You'll Need
- B.Sc. or Engineering degree in Food Science, Chemistry, or related field
- 10+ years of R&D leadership experience, preferably in food development
- Strong project and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent communication, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities
- Fluent in English; willingness to travel as needed
