Overview:

We are seeking a Core Embedded C/C++ Developer with strong avionics domain expertise and proven experience in developing safety-critical software compliant with DO-178B/C standards. The role involves designing, coding, testing, and validating embedded software for avionics systems with a focus on reliability, performance, and certification requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and optimize embedded software using C and C++ for avionics applications.
  • Implement safety-critical features following DO-178B/C guidelines across the full development lifecycle.
  • Work on low-level programming, device drivers, RTOS, and BareMetal development.
  • Collaborate on requirements, design, coding, integration, and verification & validation activities.
  • Perform unit testing, integration testing, and system-level testing using industry-standard tools.
  • Debug and troubleshoot issues using JTAG, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers.
  • Participate in code reviews, peer reviews, and compliance documentation preparation.
  • Work closely with systems, hardware, and certification engineers for avionics programs.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Strong hands-on experience in Embedded C and C++ development for real-time, safety-critical systems.
  • Solid knowledge of DO-178B/C processes (Level AD software development lifecycle).
  • Proficiency in low-level development, board bring-up, RTOS, and microcontrollers/processors (ARM, PowerPC, DSP, etc.).
  • Experience with avionics communication protocols (ARINC 429, CAN, MIL-STD-1553, AFDX).
  • Proficiency with debugging and verification tools (LDRA, VectorCAST, Lauterbach, GDB, etc.).
  • Knowledge of configuration management tools (Git, SVN, ClearCase, DOORS, Polarion).
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills in safety-critical environments.
