The team: 

The Sensor Team is part of Samsung's world-leading System LSI division, responsible for developing advanced CMOS image sensors for mobile, automotive, and next-generation imaging applications.

Our R&D Center focuses on end-to-end sensor IP development — from pixel and analog front-end through digital signal processing, control, and data interface — ensuring best-in-class performance and image quality.

The team consists of experienced engineers specializing in digital design, verification, FW, and DD integration collaborating closely with algorithm, analog, and product engineering teams across Samsung's global sites.

What will you do?

  • Design and develop digital IPs for image sensor SoCs, including control, data processing, and interface modules.
  • Participate in architecture definition, RTL design, synthesis, and integration with analog and mixed-signal components.
  • Collaborate closely with algorithm, verification, DFT, and backend teams to deliver high-quality, silicon-proven designs.
  • Support bring-up and validation of your IPs in real silicon and system environments.
Requirements
  • B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electrical / Computer Engineering from a leading university (GPA 90+).
  • Strong understanding of digital design principles, RTL coding (Verilog/VHDL/SystemVerilog), and logic synthesis.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with a hands-on and collaborative approach.

Advantage

  • Experience in VLSI design and verification (ASIC or FPGA).
  • Familiarity with DFT, timing analysis, or low-power design methodologies.
  • Knowledge of imaging systems, sensors, or signal processing architectures.
  • Experience with scripting languages (Python, Perl, or TCL).
