The Key Account Manager will be responsible for driving sales, developing strong dealer and grower relationships, and expanding the adoption of Netafim's innovative irrigation solutions in the Rocky Mountain Plains Region. This role combines technical expertise in irrigation systems with strategic sales skills, ensuring alignment with company goals and delivering innovative solutions to customers. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  1. Sales & Market Development: 
  • Drive sales of Netafim's complete product portfolio, including innovative irrigation solutions. 
  • Expand market share in the assigned region by promoting the adoption of sustainable irrigation practices. 
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets for revenue, market share, and profitability. 
  • Conduct competitor analysis and market research to identify opportunities for growth. 
  1. Dealer & Grower Relationships: 
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers, growers, and other stakeholders. 
  • Provide education on product features, advantages, and benefits through seminars, field tours, and demonstrations. 
  • Collaborate with dealers and growers to design, install, and maintain irrigation systems that optimize performance. 
  1. Territory Management: 
  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate territory records, including forecasts and budgets. 
  • Manage the defined territory through consistent communication, regular visits, and high call volume. 
  • Develop and implement territory strategies to address market needs and align with company goals. 
  1. Technical & Product Expertise: 
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of irrigation system design, installation, and maintenance. 
  • Promote innovative irrigation solutions, showcasing sustainability and efficiency benefits. 
  • Serve as a technical resource to dealers and growers, ensuring successful product implementation. 
  1. Collaboration & Communication: 
  • Work closely with internal teams, including product management, customer service, and marketing, to align efforts and strategies. 
  • Participate in company trade shows, conferences, and industry events to represent Netafim. 
  • Support the development of marketing materials, sales tools, and educational resources. 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in agriculture, business, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 
  • At least 5 years of experience in sales, manufacturing, or related operations, preferably in irrigation or agriculture. 
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences. 
  • Technical knowledge of irrigation systems and their applications. 
  • Proficient in CRM tools and data analysis for strategic planning. 

Physical Requirements: 

  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. 
  • Travel daily by a company provided vehicle and some by airline. 
  • Travel will be up to 50% overnight. 
  • Must reside within the assigned territory of: Idaho, Utah, Colorado, Wyoming and Montana.  Preferably UT or Western ID. 
  • Valid driver's license; eligibility for coverage on Company liability policy
