About The Team
Fireblocks' Security & Trust group is responsible for ensuring the highest standards of compliance, platform security, and threat protection for our clients. Your work will directly contribute to the trust and confidence our clients place in our platform, as we safeguard their digital assets and sensitive information. With a threat landscape that is ever-evolving, our team functions as a cohesive unit, working closely together to provide cutting-edge security solutions and maintain trust in our platform.

What You'll Do
As a Core Developer on our team, you'll be instrumental in shaping the future of digital asset security. You'll dive deep into our policy engine, a critical component implemented with confidential computing technologies, and directly contribute to securing trillions of dollars in transactions. This is a unique opportunity to make a profound impact by:

  • Scaling to New Heights: Tackle fascinating challenges in optimizing our systems to support an ever-increasing number of transactions per second and dramatically improve transaction latency.
  • Redefining User Access & Authorization: Take ownership of user access, authentication, and authorization. This could mean designing a brand-new, in-house architecture that sets new industry standards, moving beyond our current reliance on Auth0.
  • Driving Business Growth: Your innovations in security will directly enable Fireblocks to offer the products our clients are eagerly awaiting, solidifying our position as a market leader.

Leading End-to-End:
From initial design and research to core logic development and deployment, you'll have the autonomy and responsibility to lead projects from conception to completion.

What You'll Bring

  • 5+ years of hands-on C++ development experience, with a proven track record of building performant and reliable systems.
  • 3+ years of experience developing web applications, understanding the intricacies of secure web interactions.
  • The ability and experience to proactively lead and take ownership end-to-end, including design, development from scratch, research, and writing core logic.
  • A strong team player mentality, ready to collaborate closely within a cohesive unit.
  • Experience with microservice architecture.
  • Experience working on a high-scale distributed system.
  • Experience in security – highly desired.
