Overview
The Product Marketing Manager will contribute to Flare's go-to-market product strategy, helping bring tech-driven and best-in-class legal services to the masses. This role serves as a key bridge between our product strategy and activities that drive growth and client satisfaction. You will collaborate with Product, Creative, Data, Sales and Customer Support to develop compelling messaging and positioning, support marketing campaigns, and generate actionable insights.
The ideal candidate has 5-10 years of experience in product marketing at consumer technology, software, or direct-to-consumer companies. This position reports to the VP of Marketing and will play a crucial role in executing company-wide marketing strategies while contributing strategic insights.
What You'll Do
- Execute product marketing strategies by developing compelling product messaging and positioning, working with cross-functional teams to deliver excellent legal experiences.
- Advocate for the voice of the customer, contributing insights to build a client-centric product roadmap and improve client satisfaction and retention.
- Support rapid data-driven iterations to test and optimize digital-first features, campaigns, and experiences.
- Partner with Product, Creative, Data, Sales and Customer Support to gather client feedback, enhance product offerings, and incorporate insights into sales, product and marketing strategies.
- Monitor and analyze the performance of product marketing activities on growth, engagement, and retention.
- Collaborate with the Insights team to understand competitive landscape, client needs, and marketplace trends.
- Work closely with paid marketing teams to execute innovative marketing campaigns and initiatives that capture market attention and interest.
- Stay current on marketing trends and technologies that can enhance the team's effectiveness.
- Contribute to team knowledge sharing and best practices.
Requirements
- Self-starter with 5-10 years of product marketing experience building successful marketing strategies.
- Strong product marketing background, preferably in U.S.-based consumer-facing digital products, SaaS, or marketplaces
- Exhibits a pragmatic "startup" mentality with a strong bias for short cycle execution, experimentation, and tactical decisiveness.
- Experience working effectively in remote and distributed team environments
- Highly pragmatic professional able to balance strategic thinking with fast-paced execution
- Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication and project management skills with the ability to create compelling narratives and present ideas clearly
- Proficiency in conducting market research and translating insights into actionable product marketing strategies.
- Ability to use data and analytics to inform marketing decisions and measure campaign effectiveness.
- Thrives in ambiguous, fast-changing environments.
- Desired: High spikes and track record developing winning CRM campaigns
