The Boards Blocks group plays a central role in shaping 's flagship product — Boards, used daily by millions of customers around the world.

Our mission is to build the modular building blocks that power Boards, creating the foundation for scalability, extensibility, and intelligent workflows. These building blocks enable AI agents, product teams, and external builders to compose powerful solutions and deliver value at massive scale.

We focus on:

• Enterprise-scale performance and reliability – enabling seamless experiences across boards with tens of millions of records, while ensuring high availability and accessibility.
• Modularity and customization – introducing a post-monolith architecture that accelerates innovation and empowers builders across the platform.
• Meaningful data entities – defining structured concepts (e.g., Projects, Deals, Tickets) that enrich reporting, automation, and cross-board workflows.
• Intelligent workflows – connecting Boards with AI-powered insights and recommendations that simplify complexity and optimize the way teams work.

• Lead and grow multiple engineering teams and managers in the Boards Blocks group, shaping the modular building blocks that power monday boards.
• Define and drive the long-term technical roadmap, balancing platform strategy, scalability, and product needs.
• Translate complex and competing requirements into a clear, prioritized, and executable roadmap, ensuring alignment with 's business goals.
• Build a world-class engineering culture that is obsessive about quality, detail, and delivery at scale.
• Oversee the design and development of tier 1 modular services that support millions of users, 10M+ record boards, enterprise-grade performance, and accessibility.
• Partner closely with Product, Design, and cross-company stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of Blocks with the rest of the platform.
• Drive innovation in meaningful data entities and intelligent workflows, laying the foundation for AI-driven, customizable, and high-impact board experiences.

• Proven experience managing managers and multiple teams, with a track record of scaling organizations and setting group-level strategy.
• Deep expertise in platform engineering, with experience building scalable, high-performance systems.
• Strong platform mindset – able to think long-term, design for extensibility, and set architectural standards that enable others to build on top.
• Detail-obsessed with a passion for creating robust, high-quality systems and raising the engineering bar.
• Strong product and business orientation – able to work with multiple stakeholders, synthesize demands, and define clear priorities.
• Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire, influence, and grow senior leaders around you.
• Experience working in fast-paced, high-scale environments with complex dependencies.
