AJEEC-NISPED
(Arab-Jewish Center for Empowerment, Equality, and Cooperation – Negev Institute for Strategies of Peace and Economic Development) is an Arab-Jewish organization for social change that was established in the Negev in 2000. The organization is made up of a joint team of Arabs and Jews who work together to create an equal, shared society, which allows Arabs and Jews to coexist while preserving their identity and culture. Currently, the organization operates in civil society all over Israel and in cross-border programs.

The organization's goal is to promote leadership and social involvement among teenagers and youth in Arab society, community development in the Arab-Bedouin sector in the Negev, and development of a shared society for Arabs and Jews throughout Israel.

Role Description

This is a full-time, hybrid Grant Writer role (offices in Beer Sheva). The Grant Writer will be responsible for identifying funding opportunities, conducting detailed prospect research, and preparing compelling grant proposals. Duties also include managing grant applications, ensuring compliance with funding requirements, and maintaining comprehensive records of past and current grants. Collaboration with internal teams and communication with donors will be an integral part of the role, alongside contributing to fundraising strategies to support organizational goals.

• Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Research skills, data collection, and information processing.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with Israeli civil society and issues of equality and social justice.
• Identification with the organization's values and with the vision of Arab–Jewish partnership and shared society.
• Background in resource development and grant writing – an advantage
• Excellent communication skills in English (writing and speaking)
• Hebrew proficiency
• Fluency in Arabic - an advantage
