Project Engineer

IDE Technologies, a world leader in water treatment solutions, is looking for a Project Engineer to join its Commercial Division.

This is a unique opportunity to join a team with a significant impact on global water and environmental challenges. The role combines strong engineering knowledge with a commercial mindset, requiring you to manage interfaces both inside and outside the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Lead for Tenders: Oversee the engineering aspects of bids and proposals, ensuring technical feasibility and accuracy.
• Interface Management: Coordinate between internal engineering teams, external contractors, and suppliers to align technical specifications and costs.
• Client & Stakeholder Communication: Serve as a technical point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and presenting solutions.
• Risk Assessment: Evaluate technical risks associated with new projects and propose mitigation strategies.

Reports to: Engineering Department Manager

Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or Water & Environmental) – Must
• 3+ years of experience as a Project Engineer, working on complex engineering projects within the process industry – Must
• Prior experience in mechanical or process design – Must
• Proven experience in matrix management and team leadership – Must
• High-level proficiency in English – Must
• Background and experience in water systems design – Significant Advantage
