Our Engineering and Systems Department in the Missile and Space Systems Division is looking for an
RF Communication System Engineer
for missile and space applications.

What will you do:

  • RF communication systems engineering.
  • Defining line-of-sight (LOS) and satellite communication (SATCOM) systems.
  • Analyzing RF communication system requirements, conducting link budget analysis, and assessing communication availability (LOS/SATCOM).
  • Managing the engineering aspects of the system while collaborating with internal engineering teams and external subcontractors, including algorithm development, software, hardware, firmware, mechanics, and system integration.
  • Leading and executing design reviews (PDR, CDR) and writing test documentation (ATP, ATR, TRD).
  • Participating in system tests in Israel and abroad.
  • Integrating communication systems for telemetry applications.

What we're looking for:

  • B.Sc. in Electronics Engineering with a specialization in RF communication – mandatory.
  • M.Sc. in Engineering – advantage.
  • At least 5 years of experience in RF communication system engineering and development – mandatory.
  • Experience in RF circuit design and digital segments (knowledge of modem performance analysis: modulation types, FEC codes, and robustness techniques).
  • Hands-on experience with RF test and measurement equipment for wireless communication systems.
  • Experience with satellite communication systems – a significant advantage.
  • Knowledge of modulation schemes such as BPSK, QPSK, and Digital PM – advantage.
  • Familiarity with channel balance optimization methods – advantage.
  • Experience or knowledge in antennas.
  • Strong system-level perspective.
