As Chief Compliance Officer – Regulatory Affairs, you will lead all regulatory, compliance, and licensing activities in Israel. You will manage interactions with government entities, regulators, and relevant authorities, ensuring that all operational, trading, and infrastructure activities adhere to legal and regulatory frameworks. You will play a critical role in shaping the regulatory interface, facilitating approvals, and enabling successful execution of multi-billion-dollar projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead regulatory, compliance, and licensing activities across all trading, storage, and infrastructure operations in Israel.

• Serve as the primary interface with government authorities, regulators, and policy institutions.

• Ensure full compliance with national laws, industry regulations, and permitting requirements.

• Advise executive leadership on regulatory risks, mitigation strategies, and legal considerations for multi-billion-dollar projects.

• Oversee preparation and submission of licenses, permits, and other regulatory documentation.

• Collaborate with operational, trading, and finance teams to embed compliance into strategic and operational planning.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant Israeli regulations, energy laws, and government policies.

Candidate Profile

• Senior executive experience in regulatory affairs, compliance, or legal functions within the energy, trading, or infrastructure sectors.

• Proven track record managing interactions with government authorities and securing regulatory approvals in Israel.

• Strong understanding of energy, LNG, oil, refined products, and infrastructure regulations.

• Strategic thinker with ability to influence executive decisions and ensure operational compliance.

• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

• Fluent in Hebrew and English.
