System Team Lead

We are looking for an experienced System Team Leader to join a leading organization. This role involves leading a team of 4 members (50%) while also being hands-on (50%). As the team leader, you will be responsible for driving the team towards excellence, fostering technological innovation, serving as a knowledge resource, providing professional guidance, and leading complex technological projects.

Job Description:

• Design, implement, and maintain virtualized infrastructures based on VMware.
• Manage and lead large and complex projects.
• Manage storage infrastructure systems in the organization (AA configuration).
• Take responsibility for the organization's backup systems.
• Operate and maintain Microsoft-based systems, including a full 365 environment.
• Operate update distribution systems within the organization.
• Continuously operate, maintain, and improve monitoring systems.
• Lead cross-organizational projects, including cloud layer expansion (AWS / Azure).
• Write and analyze existing and new infrastructure architectures.
• Identify and implement automation to improve processes.
• Manage a team of 4 employees, including mentoring, professional development, and performance evaluations.

Job Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience managing system teams and at least 7 years of experience in the IT & System field – required.
• In-depth knowledge of VMware infrastructures and virtualized environments management - required.
• Extensive experience in managing SAN / NAS infrastructures - required.
• Strong familiarity with Enterprise Backup Systems - required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft systems and infrastructures (with a focus on required.
• Experience leading technological infrastructure projects - required.
• Experience in writing infrastructure architectures and technical documentation - required.
• Experience working with Active-Active environments - advantage.
• Knowledge of Linux-based systems - advantage.
• Experience with IBM AS400 systems - advantage.
• Experience with microservices and containers - advantage.
• Significant experience and familiarity with AWS cloud infrastructure - strong advantage.
• Experience with automation of infrastructure processes - strong advantage.
