Algorithm Team Leader – Computer Vision & Image Processing

Haifa District | Full Time

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and grow a professional team of two senior algorithm developers working on computer vision and image processing projects.
  • Drive the development and implementation of cutting-edge algorithms for detection, tracking, and signal processing under challenging real-world conditions.
  • Plan test scenarios, develop simulation tools, and establish experimental data repositories.
  • Design and deploy algorithmic solutions using Matlab, C++, and Python.
  • Analyze performance, benchmark alternative solutions, and continuously optimize algorithms using Machine Learning techniques.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering and integration teams throughout the full lifecycle, including complex experiment design and analysis.
  • Ensure end-to-end integration and support of advanced electro-optical products.

Requirements

  • B.Sc. in Engineering or Exact Sciences (mandatory); M.Sc. is a significant advantage.
  • At least 5 years of experience in classical image processing and algorithm development (mandatory).
  • Proven experience leading and developing technical teams.
  • Experience integrating sensor data – strong advantage.
  • Profound knowledge of statistics and probability (mandatory).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team motivation skills.
  • Practical experience with Matlab, C++, and Python in algorithmic contexts.
