Mechanical Designer

Lumet, a company engaged in research and development in the field of solar energy, is seeking a Mechanical Designer to join the development department and work in a multidisciplinary research and development environment

Job Description:

Integration as a Mechanical Engineer in a team responsible for the research and development of multidisciplinary systems, from the concept and initial research stage to the development of a mature product. The role requires working in a challenging research environment and the ability to perform advanced mechanical design.

Requirements:

·       B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering – required.

·       M.Sc. in Systems Engineering – an advantage.

·       Proven experience in the design of multidisciplinary systems.

·       At least 3 years of experience in design and research in some of the following fields: fluid dynamics, heat transfer, classical mechanics, pneumatics, propulsion, structural strength.

·       Experience in performing calculations, analyses/simulations.

·       Experience in setting up research plans, experimental setups, conducting experiments, and analyzing data.

·       Experience in design from concept to final product – significant advantage.

·       Experience in designing parts for manufacturing using various technologies: machining, sheet metal, extrusions, forging, plastics, etc.

·       Technical English – required.
