AWS Utility Computing (UC) provides product innovations — from foundational services such as Amazon's Simple Storage Service (S3) and Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), to consistently released new product innovations that continue to set AWS's services and features apart in the industry. As a member of the UC organization, you'll support the development and management of Compute, Database, Storage, Internet of Things (Iot), Platform, and Productivity Apps services in AWS. Within AWS UC, Amazon Dedicated Cloud (ADC) roles engage with AWS customers who require specialized security solutions for their cloud services.

We're seeking a full-time Inventory Specialist responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of warehouse materials, goods, and products to support business operations and internal teams' demands.

Key job responsibilities

  • Receive, stage, and check incoming material that arrive at site
  • Inspect labels, barcodes, pack slips, as well as merchandise condition
  • Process received items in ERP system according to current regulation
  • Identify and process damaged or missing items per company protocols
  • Manage inventory movement using manual and mechanical handling equipment
  • Execute effective distribution of packages to intended recipients
  • Prepare outbound shipments according to internal requests and following proper procedures and safety guidelines
  • Process shipments and coordinate pick up with courier services
  • Monitor and maintain adequate levels of packing materials and equipment
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and warehouse best practices

Basic Qualifications

  • Demonstrated knowledge of warehouse operations and distribution, shipping and receiving procedures
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and inventory management software
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects

Preferred Qualifications

  • Basic knowledge of Hazardous goods packing regulations
