About the Team
:

The Radware Cloud Security Research Team is a specialized group focused on advanced security research, deep technical expertise, and knowledge transfer. This team works closely with Radware's global Emergency Response Team (ERT) by providing expert guidance for complex cases and ensuring that the broader ERT organization is fully equipped to deliver world-class support. A key mission of the team is to adopt and master Radware's newest technologies, features, and products, validating their readiness for real-world scenarios and developing best practices and training programs to enable other ERT teams to support customers effectively and confidently.

What is the job:

• Conduct security research to identify and analyze emerging attack vectors, evolving threat landscapes, and new exploitation techniques, and develop effective detection and mitigation strategies to strengthen Radware's defense capabilities.
• Lead the team in becoming the primary escalation point for the Radware Emergency Response Team, guiding the response to complex security threats and advanced attack scenarios, and ensuring effective mitigation through deep technical expertise and strategic direction.
• Adopt and master new Radware products by collaborating with R&D, challenging features, and validating readiness for real-world scenarios.
• Develop and maintain the team's technical knowledge, skills and experience in Networking, cyber security methodologies, AppSec, Denial-of-service attacks, API threats, and emerging technologies
• Lead the team to deliver exceptional results in daily operations and projects, fostering continuous improvement, ownership, and a customer-first mindset.

What you need:

• At least 4 years of experience in cyber security research, specifically in network threats, AppSec, DDoS, Webapp technology.
• Proven experience leading technical teams in cybersecurity operations (SOC, MSSP, Blue Team, Red Team) – significant advantage.
• Deep knowledge in networking, specifically OSI model Layer3 - Layer7 protocols such as TCP, UDP, TLS, DNS, HTTP, VOIP. Wireshark proficiency, network topologies, Switches, Routers, etc.
• Deep knowledge and practical experience in security controls such as WAFs, IDS/IPS, FWs, Load Balancers, and reverse proxies.
• Knowledge and experience with Python, JavaScript and SQL.
• Customer-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving skills, accountability, and ability to manage escalations effectively. Excellent presentation skills, excellent communication skills, and excellent English (speaking, reading, and writing).
• Ability to learn and adopt new technologies quickly, challenge emerging products, and translate technical knowledge into training for internal teams.
• Experience collaborating with R&D and product teams to validate and optimize new solutions before customer rollout.
