Senior Payroll Specialist

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Payroll Specialist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end payroll processing. 
• Ensure compliance with local labour laws, tax regulations, and company policies.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, and external payroll providers to maintain payroll accuracy.
• Maintain employee payroll records, ensure timely data entry, and resolve discrepancies.
• Process statutory payments, such as pensions, sick pay, and parental leave.
• Support payroll audits, reporting, and reconciliation activities
• Manage the business trip process, including approvals, travel arrangements, and expense reimbursement.
• Review and approve employee expense claims in line with company policies.
• Perform accounting transactions in the ERP system to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Manage vendor payments, including verification, processing, and reconciliation.
• Assist the Finance Department with periodic and ad-hoc reports, reconciliations, and financial analysis as requested.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance payroll operations.

Requirements

• 4+ years of payroll experience, ideally within a multinational or regulated environment
• Previous accounting experience is a strong advantage
• Strong knowledge of payroll legislation (additional jurisdictions a plus)
• Experience working with payroll software (e.g., ADP, SAP, or similar)
• High attention to detail and data integrity
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
