Herzliya, Tel Aviv, Israel Microsoft Full time
Overview

The Microsoft Specialized Clouds organization accelerates Microsoft's mission and bold ambitions to ensure that our company and industry are securing digital technology platforms, devices, and clouds in our customers' heterogeneous environments. We foster a growth mindset and inspire excellence, empowering teams to innovate and bring their best each day. In doing so, we create life-changing innovations that impact billions of lives around the world.

The ILDC team is expanding and looking to hire a Security Assurance Product Manager. This role involves supporting strategic security initiatives by understanding multifaceted requirements, analyzing complex security issues, driving risk-informed solutions, and enabling cross-functional alignment across product, security research, and engineering teams.

The ideal candidate combines technical expertise, cybersecurity savviness, regulatory awareness, and product management skills to support AI scale projects, identify high-impact vulnerabilities, help design secure solutions, and support security reviews.

Responsibilities
  • Define vision and long-term strategy for security assurance programs, aligning with Microsoft's top-level objectives.
  • Analyze systemic security issues, prioritize risks, manage risk dependencies and influence engineering efforts to reduce vulnerabilities at scale.
  • Drive alignment across security research, engineering, compliance, and product teams; lead programs that span multiple divisions.
  •  Design scalable frameworks and tools for SDL compliance, vulnerability reduction, and governance rather than one-off fixes.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, emerging threats, and best practices in security architecture to continuously improve security measures.
  • Maintain deep subject matter expertise in cloud security, vulnerability management, and compliance tooling. Stay current with regulatory changes and emerging technologies, providing guidance, mentorship, and documentation to support organizational learning.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels to report progress, address concerns, and provide strategic security insights.
  • Contribute to internal and external security communities to promote best practices.
Qualifications
  • B.Sc. or M.Sc. in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent education.
  • 4+ years of experience in leading the security vision of technology products.

Other requirements:

  • Background in Security and Cloud and an understanding of current AI concepts and tools. Familiarity with the Microsoft security and AI stacks is a plus.
  • Experience with multi-dimensional security concepts and products (HW, FW, SW and Cloud). Experience with security regulations is a plus.
  • Experience with defining and tracking OKRs and KPIs to measure program performance is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven problem-solving skills.
  • Data driven and curious, with a passion for ongoing learning, experimenting, and improving.
  • Autonomous and capable of navigating in an ambiguous environment.
