Elssway is an innovative wireless power technology company developing next-generation near-field charging systems for micromobility and smart infrastructure. Our mission is to enable seamless, cable-free energy transfer across urban environments through advanced wireless power platforms. We are bridging the gap between high-level hardware R&D and real-world urban deployment.

The Role

We are seeking a technically-grounded
Project & Operations Manager

to lead the lifecycle of our charging systems. You will be the vital link between our multidisciplinary R&D team and our manufacturing and deployment partners. This role requires a "builder" mindset—someone who can navigate the technical nuances of hardware engineering while managing the logistical complexities of small-volume production and on-site infrastructure installation.

Your Responsibilities

  • Integrated Project Leadership:

Oversee complex project timelines that intersect Hardware, Mechanical Engineering, and Software development.
- Small-Volume Production:

Establish and manage production runs for mechanical enclosures and electronic assemblies (PCBA), ensuring quality and consistency.
- Supply Chain & Manufacturing:

Identify and vet external contractors for design, component sourcing, and fabrication.
- Production Planning:

Develop production cycles to ensure hardware availability matches deployment schedules.
- Field & Construction Coordination:

Manage construction subcontractors during the physical installation of charging systems into urban environments.
- Cross-Functional Liaison:

Act as the primary technical point of contact between Elssway's R&D engineers and external manufacturing vendors.

Requirements

  • Technical Foundation:

Bachelor's degree in
Hardware Engineering, Mechanical Engineering

, or a related technical field.
- Hardware/Ops Experience:

3+ years in project or operations management specifically within a hardware-heavy environment.
- System Fluency:

Proven experience leading projects that integrate physical mechanics, electronics, and software.
- Manufacturing Savvy:

Demonstrated success in managing low-to-medium volume manufacturing, including vendor selection for CNC/3D printing, injection molding, and PCBA.
- Construction Oversight:

Direct experience working with construction subcontractors and a solid understanding of the logistics involved in physical site installations.
- Vendor Management:

Strong background in managing external design firms and manufacturing contractors.
