Lead the solution and project development for large and complex Energy Transition (ET) Cryogenics technology projects in the APAC region. The role functions as a key technical, sales, and strategic connector, driving early customer engagement and defining competitive value propositions. This position also involves the critical role of monitoring market and regulatory evolution, and maintaining the regional ET strategy and intelligence.

Solution Development and Technical Execution:

• Analyze design requirements based on information provided by the customer and BD/OPD/E&C Sales Representatives, and coordinate the identification and preparation of relevant process solutions.
• Ensure the selection of process solutions according to customer requirements (production, investment, efficiency, availability, etc.).
• Lead solution development by maintaining the "big picture" for multi-technology solutions in order to meet the TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) target.
• Lead the preparation of A-Meeting (Block Flow Diagrams, rough budget estimation, benchmark data, decision preparation), and initiate the preparation of Basis of Design, Site Data Sheet, Scope of Works, etc.

Project Coordination and Governance:

• Represent E&C in the PDT (Project Development Team) for OTF projects, ensuring information alignment between the PDT and various E&C working levels.
• Closely coordinate the development, optimization, and integration of solutions carried out by the Solution Development teams of the relevant Product Lines, both before and through the A-Meeting.
• After the A-Meeting, provide guidance to the Proposal Manager, participate in proposal gate reviews, and ensure consistency with the selected solution.
• Ensure adequate reporting to E&C management regarding ongoing and expected future Group projects, and keep PISA entries up-to-date.

Business Development and Sales Support:

• Support Sales Representatives and Business Developers in preparing customer presentations and providing necessary technical documents at various stages of project development.
• Support BD and OPD in technical communications with final customer management.
• Prepare commercial offers for FS, pre-FEED, and FEED studies for customers, and after signing, lead the solution development activities for these studies.
• Establish long-term relationships and build networking with internal customer representatives (LI, IM, E&C Sales) and external Group or third-party end customers where possible.

Competitiveness and Market Intelligence:

• Collect information required to improve the competitiveness of current products or develop new products, and be a driving force within the E&C organization to advocate for the necessity of this development.
• Be responsible for collecting information and defining the external benchmark/evaluation of the competitor's winning solution.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Chemical, Process, or a related field.
• Work Experience: Minimum 5 years (10 years or more is a plus) working experience in the area of process/plant engineering. Must cover at least one or more of the following areas: innovation & development, solution/proposal development, process studies, or project execution.
• Mandatory Experience: Experience with ASU, Liquid Hydrogen, and other cryogenics technologies is required.
• Preferred Experience: Experience in technical-related business development is a plus.
• Language Proficiency: English (fluent or native proficiency). French is a plus.

Competencies:

• Knowledge and Technical Skills: Excellent knowledge of the E&C technology portfolio, the LI Business Model, and OTF contracts. Prior experience with HYSYS is a plus.

• Leadership and Communication:

• Exceptional communication and social skills, with the ability to present clearly and confidently to internal and external stakeholders.

• Strong experience in project coordination, such as coordinating process engineering or project development-related activities within a large cross-functional/transversal team.

• Strategy and Analysis:

• Ability to quickly understand complex technical and/or techno-economical schemes.

• Ability to systematically drive the optimization of multi-parameter problems involving technical questions and constraints, as well as economical considerations.
• Commercial Capability: Commercial capability to prepare offers for FS, pre-FEED, and FEED studies, license agreements, NDAs, and coordinate related administrative tasks.
• Work Style: Ability to work self-driven in a remote environment, and willingness to travel within Japan/APAC with regularity, and occasionally to Charenton.
