Position Overview

This role is a core financial function at the heart of the organization, responsible for end-to-end ownership of Finance Operations alongside involvement in controlling and reporting.

The position combines hands-on operational execution with process ownership, analytical oversight, and the build-out of scalable financial infrastructure, supporting a fast-growing, high-scale technology business.

Key Responsibilities

Finance Operations

• Full ownership of customer billing processes, supervising in invoice generation, revenue validation, and alignment with commercial agreements.
• Customer collections management: AR follow-up, aging analysis, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
• Vendor payments management: AP oversight, payment scheduling, and accuracy control.
• Handling payment errors, discrepancies, refunds, and credits
• Daily work with multiple financial, billing, payment, and operational systems.
• Providing financial support to sales and operations teams.
• Close, day-to-day collaboration with operational teams across the organization.
• Ongoing interface with management and the broader Finance team, including reporting, insights, and issue escalation.
• Designing and maintaining a structured framework for managing bank accounts, Cashflow etc
• Acting as a key financial owner across the entire customer financial lifecycle in a high-scale environment

Controlling & Analysis

• Active participation in month-end and quarter-end close processes
• Assistance in preparing financial P&L and analysis of financial statements, including:
• Close collaboration with other team members to ensure accurate records, accruals, and reconciliations
• Monitoring and controlling revenues and expenses, identifying variances and trends
• Working directly with external auditors and accounting firms during audits and reviews
• Building and maintaining rolling cash and financial forecasts.
• Improving cash visibility and liquidity planning to support management decision-making
• Supporting leadership with scenario analysis and forward-looking insights
• Identifying manual, inefficient financial processes and leading automation initiatives
• Implementing automation and AI-driven solutions to improve efficiency
• Bridging Finance with Business, Sales, and Operations

One of the following backgrounds:

• From Big 4 with 4–5+ years of experience, specifically in Technology / High-Tech audit teams / Economic, advisory, or financial consulting departments
• At least one hands-on role in a technology company, such as Assistant Controller / Finance Operations / Finance Analyst with operational ownership

In addition to that:

• Strong background in Finance / Accounting / Economics
• Proven experience working with Accounting teams and external auditors
• Solid understanding of financial statements and close processes
• Hands-on experience with Finance Operations (billing, collections, banks, reconciliations)
• High proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets
• Experience working with multiple financial and operational systems
• Highly hands-on and detail-oriented
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to connect numbers to business impact
• Structured, accurate, and process-driven
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• High level of ownership and accountability
