Claims Adjustor – Marine Cargo

We're seeking a Claims Adjustor to manage cargo-related loss events and moderate-scale claims, while identifying and mitigating risks in sea freight operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and manage cargo carriage risks to prevent damage or legal exposure
• Develop procedures and deliver training to reduce incident likelihood
• Handle and investigate cargo incidents to minimize financial and legal impact
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders (agents, lawyers, surveyors)
• Negotiate moderate-scale claims and pursue recovery from liable third parties
• Prepare reports and insights for management decision-making

We are looking for:

• Academic education: LL. B – a must
• Experience and ability to write in a legal manner – a must
• Experience in law of torts – a must
• Experience in insurance- an advantage
• High level of English language (Speaking, reading and writing)
• Negotiation skills - an advantage
• IT oriented – an advantage
