Technical Support Engineer - Tier 3

What You'll Do
Lead the resolution of the most complex and critical technical issues, leveraging deep expertise in our systems and infrastructure to investigate, troubleshoot, and identify root causes of technical issues. Take end-to-end ownership of production incidents, ensuring minimal business disruption while driving collaboration across teams to implement effective solutions. You'll also manage stakeholder communication with clarity and precision, proactively improving processes to strengthen system reliability and overall customer experience.
Advanced Issue Resolution:
Take full ownership of technical support tickets, conducting in-depth investigations to identify the root cause of complex issues.
- Incident Management:
Lead the response to production incidents. This includes assessing business impact, owning the issue from detection to resolution, and providing regular progress updates to stakeholders. - System Monitoring & Health:
Act as the R&D focal point for the health of production sites, applications and Data services. Proactively monitor system performance and stability, using monitoring tools to anticipate and prevent issues. - On-Call Support:
Participate in an on-call rotation to provide expert support for high-priority production incidents during off-hours, ensuring business continuity.
Requirements
- Experience:
A minimum of 3+ years of experience in a Tier 2-3 technical support capacity. - Database Proficiency:
Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with SQL scripting. Proficiency with database technologies such as Snowflake, MySQL, Athena, and MongoDB is essential. - Ownership & Accountability:
A strong ability to take complete ownership of issues from the initial report through to final resolution and stakeholder satisfaction. - Web Technologies:
Solid knowledge of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, for effective troubleshooting. - System Troubleshooting:
Basic knowledge of troubleshooting performance issues within a distributed microservices environment. Communication:
Must be fluent in English (both written and verbal). Excellent communication skills are critical for interacting with stakeholders and team members.Marketing & Analytics:
Familiarity with Google Adwords and Google Analytics.- Monitoring Tools:
Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Datadog, Grafana, Kibana, Imply, Anodot or AWS CloudWatch. - BI & ETL Tools:
Prior experience with Business Intelligence (BI) and ETL tools, particularly Tableau.
