ProLeafEra is an Agrifood tech company turning underutilized crops into high-quality, sustainable protein ingredients. With a validated production process and strong partnerships, we're expanding our R&D team to take our innovation to the next stage.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct laboratory experiments and process development activities in alignment with project goals.
  • Develop, implement, and optimize analytical methods (e.g., protein assays, spectroscopic analyses).
  • Perform functional and compositional evaluations of company applications and intermediates.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret experimental data; prepare technical reports and present key findings.
  • Collaborate closely with other R&D teams (pilot plant, process development, application development) to support scale-up and optimization activities.
  • Maintain laboratory documentation, ensure data integrity, and follow internal quality and safety procedures.

Requirements

  • B.Sc. in Food Technology, Biotechnology, Chemistry, or a related scientific field (M.Sc. – an advantage).
  • 1–3 years of hands-on experience in an industrial or academic R&D laboratory – required.
  • Experience in analytical method development – required.
  • Understanding of proteins, their extraction, and characterization – an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and process-oriented thinking.
  • High proficiency in English (scientific reading and writing).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
