HR Portfolio Manager

Your Role And Responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to support strategic business growth by streamlining and operationalizing Mergers and Acquisitions (M&As) processes in the HR corporate function. Each day, you will be driving successful execution of M&A activities by performing HR System-related M&A demands management and services governance, working closely with HRIS, HR Operations, and cross-functional M&A teams. You will also showcase your expertise by implementing integration, separation, and transition of HR system solutions for M&As.

The work model for the role is: hybrid, remote ( hybrid, remote)

Preferred location: Europe

You Will Be Mainly Accountable For

  • Building and delivering M&A supporting processes in the HR corporate function, with a customer-centric approach, driving activities that follow standardized approaches and intervening, where necessary, to reduce risks to M&A deal closing and business continuity.
  • Developing insights and proposals to improve business value, integrating demand management with complementary strategic, operational, and change management processes to ensure the successful delivery of M&A services.
  • Reviewing and evaluating new M&A-related demands, assessing impacts on HR systems, data, and processes, ensuring proper change management planning and execution, escalating risks as needed.
  • Ensuring that the HR services are delivered on time, within budget, scope, and as per quality standards from early-stage scouting, due diligence, integration/separation planning and execution, deal-closing, and Transition Service Agreement (TSA) execution.
  • Reviewing new business proposals, providing advice, and routing requests to the right businesses, taking responsibility for understanding client requirements, collecting data, providing analysis, and problem resolution. Translating business, organizational, and deal requirements into HR system requirements.

Qualifications For The Role

  • M&A expertise, including understanding of M&A activities and processes of governance, and applicable standards.
  • Experience in managing/overseeing system integrations, separations, and new system set-ups.
  • Understanding M&A implications on HR Systems and HR processes. Experience supporting M&A activities for HR systems such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, or equivalent is preferred.
  • Knowledge of compliance, policy, controls, and due diligence considerations in HR system environments.
  • Experience translating business/transaction requirements into actionable systems and process steps.
  • Strong project management capabilities, including exposure to Agile methodologies, the ability to oversee multiple concurrent workstreams.
  • Ability to collaborate with and influence stakeholders at various levels.
