We're seeking a talented Database Administrator (DBA) to join the
BI & Data
division in Microsoft activity
.
You'll play a key role in managing, optimizing, and securing the data lake architecture, ensuring high performance and supporting analytics initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage data lake architecture.
  • Optimize performance for high availability and reliability.
  • Develop and enforce data governance policies.
  • Collaborate with engineers and scientists to integrate data sources.
  • Implement security measures and ensure compliance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience in data lake administration, data management, or similar roles (required).
  • Strong expertise in MS-SQL administration (required).
  • In-depth knowledge of Azure Data Factory, Synapse, and Data Fabric (required).
  • Experience with Terraform (preferred).
  • Familiarity with data lake technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and cloud-based solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure) (required for Azure; AWS is a plus).
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala (preferred).
