Overview
We're hiring a
Senior Brand Voice & Marketing Copywriter
to shape the voice and storytelling of a fast-growing legal tech startup. As the team that powers law firms like
Marble Law
, Flare is redefining what legal services can look and feel like and we're looking for a strategic communicator who can bring that mission to life through thoughtful, human-centered content. You'll lead brand voice development, oversee copy across the lifecycle, and collaborate with stakeholders across Product, Growth, Operations, Sales, Finance, and Compliance to ensure every message is accurate, aligned, and impactful.

What You'll Do

  • Lead creative concepts for campaigns, launches, and content series—partnering with design and marketing to bring ideas to life.
  • Write (and rewrite) high-impact copy for web, email, SMS, ads, in-product marketing, video scripts, and more.
  • Turn complex topics into clear, human, scroll-stopping storytelling.
  • Maintain and evolve a distinctive, empathetic brand voice across all channels and teams.
  • Build and update voice/tone guidelines; coach teammates to keep copy consistent.
  • Launch A/B tests and iterate messaging based on performance data.
  • QA every word: accuracy, clarity, legal/compliance alignment, and on-brand tone.
  • Coordinate approvals across Product, Growth, Ops, Sales, Finance, and Compliance—even across time zones.
  • Support SEO/GEO and paid acquisition with smart, voice-safe content strategies.

Requirements

  • 7+ years in copywriting/content roles (marketing/brand focus), ideally in tech.
  • A creative first: You ideate like a creative director and execute like a (fun) copy machine.
  • Voice-obsessed: You've built or stewarded a brand voice and can flex it by channel/audience.
  • A multi-channel maker: Equally comfy with a long-form blog, a three-word CTA, or a landing page headline.
  • Collaborative & diplomatic: You gather input, manage feedback loops, and keep timelines on track.

Please provide a portfolio that showcases voice-led, concept-driven work across digital channels.
