Description
In this position you will be accountable for competitiveness of the ITero Intraoral scanner software products in terms of features, functionality, and quality. You will provide direction for products in the iTero product portfolio, focusing on ensuring that the "voice of the customer" is sufficiently captured and used as a source of decisions around product vision, strategy, roadmap, and tactical choices through product development.

Your focus will be on practice operational workflows and capabilities, uncovering our customer true needs, translating it to product/software requirements, and relentlessly driving delivery to support their success.

You will report into the Sr. Director of Clinical Solutions segment at Align Technology and will work in close partnership with multidisciplinary program team to drive products and solutions for the benefit of our customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure customer focus by communicating and building rapport with partners and customers as required and ensuring the "voice of the customer" reflected in work processes.
• Develop a deep understanding of iTero customers (Dentists, Orthodontists, Labs, DSOs, etc.) through primary and secondary research, market visits and close relationships. Incorporate this understanding into customer requirements that are consistent with the long-term customer experience and portfolio vision. Communicate and leverage this knowledge with cross-functional teams to assure understanding and buy-in.
• Have strong execution skills and ability to "drive" throughout the product lifecycle, from concept to launch.
• Be a proactive problem solver who operates effectively and independently, even in areas of uncertainty and ambiguity.
• Perform and support limited market releases of new products and services.
• Create a competitive landscape to understand Align position within the market, identify gaps, and suggest actionable paths to address those gaps.
• Establish tradeoffs between internal development and business partnership activities with strategic partners-including contract negotiations and maintenance, product changes, forecasting and financials.
• Evangelize for the product by presenting to customer and user groups, represent the product at trade shows, sell the product roadmap internally, participate in winning large deals, provide sales training, and generate enthusiasm for the product.
• Be intellectually curious, technically savvy, and maintain a sense of humor and humility.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

• 5+ years of successful product management experience in software product management and/or SaaS product management in a multinational company with a proven track record of excellent performance
• B.Sc. or B.A. degree; Master's degree in product management/business an advantage.
• Strong Product Management expertise, including product roadmap development, requirements, and product life-cycle management.
• Knowledge in dental practice environment, clinical techniques, workflows and interactions in dental and orthodontic practices is a great advantage

• Team oriented – ability to motivate and work well with diverse, cross-functional teams
• Proven ability to work globally
• Proven ability to influence and negotiate internally and with customers.
