Job Description:

Manages a team of individual contributors and/or Supervisors, and is accountable for conducting effective performance management. Manages a team in the execution of research projects within an area of Clinical Development. Delivers operational results that have direct impact on immediate or short-term department results. Requires M.D., D.O., or D.V.M qualifications, as well as additional training and/or board certifications relevant to area of expertise. For veterinary pathologists current board certifications are required.
Manages a team of individual contributors and/or Supervisors, and is accountable for conducting effective performance management.
Designs and conducts clinical development trials, assess clinical safety and efficacy data, and develops clinical study reports, clinical sections of INDs, Investigator Brochures, etc., under oversight of leaders.
Interprets reports, prepares oral and written results of product research, and participates in the discussion of strategies formulated within the disease areas.
Collaborates closely with relevant clinical development team members, as well as personnel from Global Clinical Operations, Global Strategic Marketing, and other support functions.
Works closely and communicates with research groups, drug discovery teams, project clinical teams, and basic laboratory scientists.
Establishes strong working relationships and collaborations with external study investigators, key opinion leaders in drug development, and external alliance partners.
