We are looking for a Student Research Intern within the Generative AI Trust group. The role is intended for
MSc or PhD students
with a strong interest in
artificial intelligence, generative AI
, and
cybersecurity
, and at least
one year remaining in their academic program
.
Interns will contribute to short-term, well-defined research projects that are independently manageable. Candidates should possess foundational knowledge in areas such as
AI, GenAI, LLM-based AI agents, AI trust, and AI security
. Each intern will be guided by an experienced researcher who will provide mentorship, help prioritize tasks, and ensure project milestones are met. Project scope, objectives, and key performance indicators (KPIs) will be clearly outlined and shared.
Targeted Education Level:
MSc or
PhD students at any stage of the degree with at least one year remaining.
Internship Duration:
The internship timeframe is 12 months, and its continuation is flexible (with the possibility of contract renewal every 6 months).
Work Schedule:
Flexible - full-time or part-time (minimum 40%), depending on academic commitments.
Hybrid (two days per week from the Tel-Aviv office).
Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing AI models, LLM-based agents, and algorithms for AI security applications.
- Conduct research at all stages – literature review, method design, implementation, and evaluation.
- Collect, preprocess, and analyze data to evaluate system performance.
- Document experimental setups, procedures, and results.
- Present findings in team meetings and contribute to discussions.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and contribute to academic papers and patents.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a MSc or PhD program in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Data Science, or any other related field.
- Prior experience publishing or contributing to at least one academic paper (published paper in an A* venue – an advantage).
- Proficiency in Python.
- Familiarity with machine learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow).
- Familiarity with agentic AI frameworks (e.g., LangGraph, CrewAI) - advantage.
- Experience with GenAI models (e.g., GPT, Claude, LLaMA) or LLM fine-tuning techniques – advantage.
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices – advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Enabler and can-do attitude – a must.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
