The Opportunity

We are looking for a UX Researcher-Designer to join our product team. We are building the Agentic UX that defines the future of software—designing how humans and AI teammates collaborate seamlessly. The UX team structure at Silverbee currently includes a UX and UI Designer, and we are now looking for a UX Researcher-Designer to join and complement this team. You will play a pivotal role in this mission, shaping experiences that are not just functional but lovable. In this role, you'll combine desk research, quantitative & qualitative research, usability testing, and interaction design to make sure our product feels like it was truly built for users adopting the new era of agentic software.

Your Role

Your role and responsibilities are listed below, following our discovery and delivery process.

1. Opportunity Initiation

● Proactively research the market and devise new initiatives based on product objectives, market trends, and customer input.

● Partner with founders and PMs to ensure user experience drives product strategy.

● Define and validate assumptions, being data-driven and systematic about testing and refining them. ● Establish and maintain UX principles, rituals, and processes.

● Contribute to shaping the business and product objectives through a UX-first lens.

1. Building Empathy

● Lead user research to uncover deep insights into marketers' workflows, behaviors, and challenges. ● Define and research user journeys and jobs-to-be-done, measure them, and innovate with a user-first mindset.

● Engage customers directly in interviews, validation sessions, and usability tests.

● Partner with Domain Experts to codify marketing experience nuances.

1. Opportunity Definition

● Synthesize research into personas, journey maps, and design opportunities.

● Frame clear problem statements and success criteria from a user perspective.

● Collaborate with stakeholders to align on priorities and desired outcomes.

1. Solution Ideation ● Translate insights into actionable design directions.

● Create dialogue flows, agent personalities, and conversational UX (CUX) patterns for natural, trustworthy AI interactions.

● Design user flows and wireframes across SaaS dashboards, onboarding, and management systems. ● Partner with the UI Designer to ensure visual design aligns with UX goals. 5. Prototype

● Build low- and high-fidelity prototypes to test hypotheses quickly.

● Work hand-in-hand with the UI Designer, who provides design handover files, to bring wireframes and flows to life.

● Collect and integrate internal and stakeholder feedback early.

1. Testing and Feedback

● Plan and conduct usability tests with real users to validate riskiest assumptions.

● Measure impact quantitatively and qualitatively.

● Iterate designs based on feedback from customers, founders, and team members.

1. Coding

● Collaborate with engineering to ensure smooth design handoff and implementation.

● Provide design specifications, assets, and flows in collaboration with the UI Designer.

● Support development with clarifications and feedback loops during implementation.

1. Tweaking

● Listen to the market and bring in new approaches, trends, and best practices.

● Continuously refine the UX based on analytics, user insights, and stakeholder input.

● Champion accessibility, usability, and consistency across the platform.

● Help evolve Silverbee's design system and interaction principles.

● Demonstrate measurable improvement in product adoption.

Requirements

● 7+ years of UX design experience in SaaS, including PLG products.

● Portfolio that shows excellence in complex SaaS product UX.

● Experience leading design direction or systems in a high-growth environment.

● Ability to think systemically while caring deeply about micro-interactions.

● Proficiency with Figma.

● Excellent communication skills, both for presenting research findings and design rationale.

● Strong stakeholder management skills: ability to concept, present, defend, and iterate designs directly with founders and company leaders who care a lot about our product and customers..

● Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment with evolving priorities.

● Bonus: background in marketing tech, PLG, or AI/agentic platforms.
