What will you be responsible for?

  • Ensure end-to-end quality throughout the product lifecycle, from initial product specification to deployment and monitoring.
  • Plan, design, write and execute comprehensive test cases to validate product functionality and performance.
  • Write, maintain, and improve automated end-to-end tests using Playwright
  • Define, write and maintain detailed regression tests to ensure the stability of the product with each release.
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering, Product, Design, and Customer-Facing teams to ensure product quality, usability, and a seamless user experience.
  • Play a key role in defining and optimizing development and testing processes to continuously improve product quality.
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines by integrating and maintaining test automation

What would make you a good fit for this role ?

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience as a Manual QA Engineer.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience as an Automation Engineer.
  • Hands-on experience writing Playwright tests for web apps (TypeScript/JavaScript)
  • Experience in software QA testing on web applications, with an emphasis on UI/UX.
  • Proven experience in planning and writing test documentation (STP, STD).
  • Strong understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, APIs)
  • Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, processes, and best practices.
  • Experience working with test management tools - e.g Jira, TestRail.
  • Experience with development tools, logs, and basic debugging techniques.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Experience in a SaaS company/startup, 1:5 QA vs Dev.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and technical skills.
  • Highly self-motivated, detail-oriented, and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • A team player who wants to join a great team

Nice to have:

  • Experience testing Chrome extensions/Desktop App is a strong advantage
  • Experience in NLP and/or Computer Vision products.
  • Familiarity with CI tools like GitHub Actions, CircleCI, or similar
  • Experience with REST API testing using platforms such as Postman.
