to take part in building it.

Java / Kotlin Backend Developer

We are looking for a Java / Kotlin Backend Developer to work on a sensors data-processing system using Apache Kafka and PostgreSQL.

Key tasks:


• Consuming decoded sensors data from Apache Kafka


• Routing and persisting data into PostgreSQL databases


• Implementing business logic and triggering actions based on incoming data


• Collaborating with other backend and data-processing services

Requirements / Advantages:


• Strong Java or Kotlin backend experience


• Experience with Apache Kafka and PostgreSQL


• Familiarity with event-driven or message-based systems


• Advantage: experience with TimescaleDB and time-series data


• Advantage: experience applying ML/AI to time-series or data to learn patterns and improve automated triggers
