Senior System Integration Engineer – AirSEM Technologies

Location: Park Hamada, Rehovot — right by the train station

About the Role

We're looking for a System Integration Engineer to join our R&D team and play a key role in the assembly, integration, and testing of complex multidisciplinary systems.

This is a hands-on role that bridges development, production, and field operations, including system installation, calibration, and customer support — both in Israel and abroad.

You'll be involved throughout the entire product lifecycle, from prototype to production and customer delivery.

As AirSEM continues to grow, this position offers a pathway to lead an integration group

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead system integration and testing of AirSEM's microscopy platforms in lab and field environments
  • Assemble, align, and calibrate mechanical, electronic, and optical subsystems
  • Support system bring-up, troubleshooting, and performance optimization
  • Conduct system installations and field service at customer sites (domestic and international)
  • Document assembly, calibration, and testing procedures
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, R&D, and production teams to drive continuous system improvements

Requirements

  • Degree or practical experience in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering disciplines
  • Proven experience with vacuum system assembly —
    required
  • Experience working in a cleanroom environment —
    advantage
  • 5+ years of experience in system integration, assembly, or testing of multidisciplinary systems (mechanical, electronic, or scientific)
  • Experience with system installation and customer support —
    strong advantage
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings —
    advantage
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, high attention to detail, and excellent documentation habits
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken
