What's the job?
Connecteam is looking for an experienced
Product Data Analyst
to take full ownership of a product domain and become a key strategic partner in shaping its success. In this role, you won't just analyze data, you'll
lead the data vision
for your area, define the right KPIs, guide the PM on what to build (and what not to), and become the
data authority behind every feature decision
.

You'll collaborate with Product, R&D, and Business stakeholders to deliver meaningful product insights, lead A/B testing, and help prioritize roadmap initiatives based on measurable impact. You'll be the
gatekeeper of product data quality
, ensuring everything we build is guided by the right tracking, the right questions, and the right results.

What you'll be doing:

• Own the data strategy for a product domain, driving KPIs, tracking, and insight delivery.
• Partner with Product Managers to prioritize features, set success metrics, and make informed roadmap decisions.
• Define BI events and collaborate with developers to ensure accurate and scalable tracking.
• Build, maintain, and enhance BigQuery tables using dbt, SQL, and data transformation tools.
• Design and evaluate A/B tests and product experiments.
• Create clear dashboards and visualizations to support teams and leadership.
• Proactively uncover insights to improve feature adoption and product performance.

Which qualifications you'll need:

• 4+ years
  as a Data or Product Analyst in a fast-paced tech/SaaS company working with large datasets.
• Hands-on experience with SQL and analytical data modeling.
• Proven experience in product analytics, event-based tracking, and experimentation (A/B testing).
• Strong experience creating data visualizations and dashboards using BI tools (e.g., Looker, Metabase, Tableau).
• experienced with Git

  , able to turn product and business needs into clear KPIs and tracking plans.

Advantages:

• Experience with dbt, BigQuery, Airflow, or Dagster.
• Solid foundation in statistics, experimentation design, and anomaly detection.
• Experience working with Python.
• Experience with Curser or similar tools used for advanced analytics or AI-driven insights.
• Background in industries or companies focused on user behavior and usability analysis.
• Experience in fast-growing startups or scale-up environments.
