One of the Big 5 Tech companies is looking for a
Social Media Marketing Specialist

In this role, you will blend creative intuition with operational rigor. You will manage the "ground game" of our social ecosystem while acting as our internal explorer for AI and innovation. You aren't just posting content, you are helping drive app usage and brand love through culture-centric storytelling and AI enhanced processes.

Responsibilities


• Social Native Execution

Manage the daily publishing schedule across the company's entire social footprint. Ensure content feels native to each platform, understanding that tone, format, and engagement rules differ significantly between channels.


• B2C App Storytelling

Translate product updates and app features into engaging social content. Understand the B2C funnel and how to move users from post engagement to opening the app.


• AI Implementation & Innovation

Serve as the primary AI explorer. Proactively test and implement Generative AI tools to streamline workflows, resize assets, and automate community sentiment analysis.


• Vendor Coordination

Act as the day-to-day liaison for external agencies and creators. Manage asset trafficking, organize feedback loops, and ensure vendors deliver content aligned with real-time cultural trends.


• Trend Spotting

Be the brand's eyes and ears. Identify emerging audio, visual, and meme trends quickly and collaborate with the team to capitalize on them while they are still relevant.


• Performance Tracking

Compile weekly reports. Use AI-powered analytics tools to extract insights and link social engagement metrics to broader app-awareness goals.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2-4 years of experience in social media marketing, specifically for B2C brands or mobile apps.
  • "Social Native" fluency:
    deep, intuitive understanding of internet culture, memes, and platform-specific nuances (including how algorithms prioritize content across different video and text platforms).
  • Demonstrated interest in Artificial Intelligence and hands-on experience using GenAI tools in a professional context.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience crafting prompts ("Prompt Engineering") to generate high-quality AI outputs.
  • Natural storyteller able to shift tone seamlessly between playful consumer content and educational product messaging.
  • Basic content-creation abilities (short-form video editing, basic graphic design) - strong plus.
