Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated Senior QA Test Engineer. This role focuses on both building automation QA and also manual testing. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in web technologies and a strong desire to grow within the QA field.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Testing

  • Build a comprehensive QA automation platform
  • Test web applications across multiple browsers and devices
  • Validate HTML markup, CSS styling, and responsive design implementations
  • Perform API testing using HTTP methods and analyze response codes
  • Monitor network requests and responses using browser developer tools
  • Test form submissions, data validation, and user workflows

Manual Testing

  • Execute comprehensive manual test cases for web applications and software products
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing
  • Conduct exploratory testing to identify edge cases and usability issues
  • Document and track defects using bug tracking systems
  • Verify bug fixes and conduct re-testing activities
  • Participate in test planning and test case design sessions
  • Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements and acceptance criteria

Quality Assurance Process

  • Review and contribute to test documentation and procedures
  • Participate in daily standups and sprint planning meetings
  • Provide detailed test reports and metrics to stakeholders
  • Support user acceptance testing coordination
  • Assist in release testing and deployment verification

Required Qualifications

Technical Skills

  • Experience with QA automation tools
  • Solid understanding of HTML structure, semantic markup, and web standards
  • Knowledge of CSS properties, selectors, and responsive design principles
  • Familiarity with HTTP protocol, status codes, and request/response cycles
  • Experience with browser developer tools for debugging and inspection
  • Basic understanding of web application architecture and client-server communication
  • Proficiency with testing methodologies and defect lifecycle management

Professional Skills

  • 5 and above years of experience in software testing both automated and manual
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent attention to detail and methodical approach to testing
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in an Agile development environment
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with bug tracking tools (Jira)
  • Familiarity with version control systems (Git)
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
