Ship4wd is reshaping how SMBs source and ship products globally. We combine end-to-end sourcing, digital freight, and logistics into a single platform that helps small and medium-sized businesses to move their business forward.

The Role

We are looking for a Data & Automation expert, a hands-on data expert with business acumen skills. Your mission: gather data from internal and external sources, analyze it, generate deep business insights and build automations.

What You'll Do

Leverage the latest data, AI and automation tools to:

1.Research and Analyze

· Understand the business goals and problems to solve

· Gather and conduct comprehensive research on relevant revenue and customer-related data (internal, public, or 3rd party data)

2. Model Building:

· Find the root cause analysis for the business problems

· Build basic models using both known and unknown data

· Build clear business and detailed level reports with clear insights and outcomes

3. Implementation:

· Implement tools and automation that will reflect the insights back to the operational systems, improving the way our users and customers work

· Observe, improve and optimize

Requirements

· 2-5 years of hands-on experience with data analysis, Proven success in previously analyzing and optimizing data and processes (ideally revenue, customers, eCommerce or logistics data).

· Analytical Business Acumen: Top-down and bottom-up skills to understand business drivers and the data elements that affect them, along with their relationships.

· Technical Proficiency: Hands-on data analysis and scripting:

o Proficient in analytics tools such as Excel (e.g. pivot/power query), power BI and AI GPT tools. ability to quickly adapt to newest tools

o Scripting & Automation: Hands-on experience with Low-Code platforms (e.g. power automation, salesforce flows) and scripting languages (e.g. Python, Apex) for data automation and web scraping.

o API Integration: Proficient in working with REST APIs, integrating external data sources into automated workflows.

· Self-motivated builder:

o Data obsessed, thrived to quickly create new insights, frameworks, and processes.

o Multi-tasked team player in a matrix-team environment.

· Bachelor's degree in information systems, statistics, Industrial Engineering or other relevant certifications
