The Team:

Our Israeli Ratings team is a collaborative group of credit analysts based in Tel Aviv, covering diverse industries including Corporates, Financial Services, Municipalities, and Infrastructure & Project Finance. As a team member, you'll contribute to initiatives that improve our analytical processes while performing specialized credit work and supporting team members with technical guidance.

The Impact:

Your analytical expertise will directly influence credit rating decisions that shape global financial markets. You'll take accountability for individual and team analytical targets while resolving credit assessment issues that are often varied and non-routine. You'll demonstrate analytical excellence and strong presentation skills to internal and external audiences, working with issuers at board level and representing S&P Global Ratings professionally to global investors.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain surveillance on a rating portfolio of about 10-15 credits within EMEA sectors
  • Perform credit analysis to understand and identify key factors affecting credit ratings using S&P Global Ratings criteria
  • Lead new transaction and issuer ratings analysis, delivering outcomes in a timely and insightful manner
  • Develop and maintain understanding of industry trends and issues
  • Present findings and opinions to credit rating committees
  • Interact with senior management of issuers to obtain information for credit rating decisions
  • Prepare materials for publication on S&P Global Ratings portal (rating reports, press releases, commentaries)

What We're Looking For:

Basic Required Qualifications:

  • Solid credit analysis experience with corporate, global company, audit firm, or credit institutions
  • Strong analytical skills with deep understanding of financial statements and accounting concepts
  • Detail-oriented with accuracy in figures and ability to meet deadlines while resolving analytical challenges
  • Hebrew (native speaker) and English (strong written/oral communication)
  • Degree in relevant business field; Master's degree desirable

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced corporate credit analysis experience with ability to provide professional guidance
  • Proven ability to manage conflicting analytical priorities while delivering high-quality assessments
  • Strong presentation skills with ability to interpret complex credit information for diverse audiences
  • Experience identifying opportunities for analytical process improvement and innovation 

All employees are required to work from the office a minimum of 2 days per week.

We require all candidates who reach the final stage of our interview process to attend at least one in-person interview, which is ordinarily at your nearest S&P Global Ratings office. This must be completed before we can proceed to an offer.
