Key Responsibilities

  • Deploy and support the company's service infrastructure on kubernetes
  • Find the right tool for our next moonshot project - and then build it
  • Help developers deploy and scale their services by getting into the details
  • Scale and optimize a variety of databases
  • Help other engineers move faster by making great developer tools
  • Provide visibility and reliability with observability tools

What We Need From You

  • Proven experience as a successful, independent software engineer (3+ years)
  • Design chops: ability to find the right tool for the job and build a system that is scalable and reliable
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • English fluency (spoken and written)
  • This is a hybrid role with Monday's and Wednesday's required in-office in our Jerusalem office, conveniently located in the offices of Jerusalem Central Bus Station office building
  • Builder mentality: this is a hands-on position which primarily involves writing code and deploying it to production. Coding skills and familiarity with basic data structures is expected
  • Experience with the following concepts: relational and non-relational databases, streaming systems, scaling, message queues, CI/CD, version control, cloud platforms
  • Bonus: Hands-on experience with container orchestration and managing production environments using Kubernetes and Knative
  • Bonus: Deep experience with ClickHouse
