About the role:

We are looking for a senior QA Engineer to take ownership of system-level testing and quality assurance for our defense-grade technology. This is a hands-on role, working closely with engineers and product teams to ensure the reliability, stability, and performance of our multidisciplinary systems. You'll define and execute test plans, identify issues, and help us deliver high-quality solutions in demanding environments.

Key responsibilities:

  • Design and execute manual and automated tests for complex, hardware-software integrated systems.
  • Develop test plans and test cases based on product requirements and system architecture.
  • Perform system validation in lab and field environments.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to investigate issues, analyze logs, and drive defect resolution.
  • Maintain documentation for test procedures, results, and version compatibility.
  • Provide input on product usability, performance, and reliability from a QA perspective.

Requirments:

  • Proven experience 6+ years in Manual QA of complex systems, ideally involving both hardware and software components - Must.
  • Deep understanding of QA methodologies, including test planning and execution.
  • Hands-on experience with bug tracking and project management tools such as Jira.
  • Strong ability and proven track record of analyzing and optimizing workflows to improve testing processes and defect management.
  • Strong Understanding of IT, networking, and system architecture is a must.
  • Fluent working with CLI interfaces and Linux environments
  • Hands on experience with Docker and Kubernetes
  • Hands on experience with system integrations, troubleshooting, and technical documentation.
  • Team player but also capable of working independently on complex projects.
  • Great communication skills working with developers, teammates and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
  • Experience in defense, aerospace, or other mission-critical industries is an advantage.
  • Availability for a full-time role in Tel Aviv, with potential travel to customer sites as needed.
  • Proficiency in at least one OOP programming language (Python, TypeScript, Java) is a big advantage.
  • Experience writing and debugging test automation code using one of the leading industry tools such as Playwright or Selenium is a big advantage.
