A Leading Defense Company Based in Haifa is Hiring a Junior Cyber Architect

We are looking for a
Junior Cyber Architect – Infrastructure & Cloud
to join our talented
Infrastructure and Network Security team
within a leading defense technology company in Haifa.

This role focuses on
IT infrastructure and cloud environments
, with an emphasis on
Microsoft Azure
.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and continuously improve cybersecurity solutions for
  cloud and enterprise infrastructure environments
  .
• Collaborate closely with
  Engineering, IT, and SecOps
  teams.
• Provide hands-on support with
  security tools
  when necessary (not the main focus of the role).
• Plan and deploy
  security solutions in Azure
  , including Azure Security Center, Defender for Cloud, Sentinel, and related tools.
• Conduct
  risk assessments, gap analyses
  , and recommend security enhancements for both
  cloud and on-premises environments
  .
• Define and enforce
  security policies, hardening standards, access control
  , and other security controls.
• Draft
  architecture documents, procedures, and security reports
  .

Requirements:

• Minimum
  2 years of hands-on experience
  in IT or SecOps –
  Must
  .
• Proficiency in Active Directory management –
  Must
  .
• Strong understanding of
  Azure security services
  , including Azure Defender, Sentinel, Key Vault, and IAM.
• Basic knowledge of
  network protocols, operating systems (Windows/Linux)
  , and system hardening.
• Relevant
  certifications
  (e.g., AZ-500, SC-200, or similar) – advantage.
• Ability to work
  independently and collaboratively
  , with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with
  data communication, network management and maintenance
  – advantage.
• Familiarity with
  virtualization technologies
  (VMware, Hyper-V, or similar).
• Experience with
  Windows and Linux hardening
  – advantage.
• Familiarity with
  Israeli defense and security processes
  or background in a relevant military/defense organization – advantage.
• Experience drafting
  technical specifications and engineering requirements
  – advantage.
• Proven experience in writing
  security policies, standards, and operational procedures
  – strong advantage.
