We are looking for a Quality assurance engineer to join our team in Jerusalem. This is an amazing opportunity to join the Alma Specto QA team. We have a great skill set in Quality assurance, and we would love to speak with you if you have skills in Java, automation, and manual testing.
  • About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments
  • Student -Computer Science or Software Engineering
  • 0-2 years of experience in Java/JEE development
  • 0-2 years of experience in manual and automated testing
  • High proficiency in English – both written and spoken
It would be great if you also had . . .
  • Experience working in an Agile Development environment.
  • Ability to research and implement new technologies.
What will you be doing in this role?
You will review user stories to understand the acceptance criteria. Work with the team to clarify any doubts.
You will identify test scenarios based on user stories and write test scripts.
You will execute test scripts for both new stories and regression. You will document and track defects, providing detailed information to assist development.
You will implement test automation and conduct a wide range of quality control tests, trials, and analyses across systems and applications to ensure that software meets or exceeds specified standards and end-user requirements. Draft, revise, and approve test plans and scripts to ensure alignment with standards and software strategy.

You will be part of the Specto QA team.
Alma Specto—an emerging digitalcollectionsplatform powered by Generative AI and built on a scalable SaaS architecture.
About the Team
The QA teamconsists of 10 team members.You'llreport to the QA Manager.

Our base is in the Jerusalem, Israel office, hybrid mode.
This is a part-time fixed-term position.
