Role Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical System Analyst to bridge the gap between business needs and technical implementation. This role is responsible for analyzing user requirements, translating them into detailed system designs, and ensuring development teams have clear, accurate, and actionable specifications. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical thinking with excellent communication skills and a solid understanding of software development processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyze, and document business and user requirements through meetings, workshops, and research.
  • Translate requirements into detailed functional specifications, use cases, and process flows for development teams.
  • Develop system design documentation that includes data models, interface specifications, and workflow diagrams.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, testers, and product managers to ensure requirements are understood and implemented correctly.
  • Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring alignment on scope and deliverables.
  • Assist in evaluating and recommending technology solutions that meet business objectives.
  • Support the testing phase by reviewing test cases, validating functionality, and ensuring requirements are met.
  • Maintain and update documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience as a System Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role in software development projects.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and/or Agile methodologies.
  • Ability to create detailed documentation including functional specifications, process models, and data flow diagrams.
  • Familiarity with database concepts, APIs, and system integration principles.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
