About the Role
We're looking for a detail-oriented and analytical professional with at least 2 years of experience and a strong sense of ownership to join our Risk Operations team.
In this role, you'll perform risk assessments and underwriting, analyze data and user behavior to identify patterns and insights, and communicate your findings clearly and effectively. You'll be part of a dynamic, fast-paced fintech environment, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to enhance the Risk department's planning, monitoring, and decision-making processes. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced fintech environment, combines structured analytical thinking with practical problem-solving, and enjoys collaborating across teams to drive measurable impact.
What You'll Do
- Perform comprehensive risk assessments and underwriting processes.
- Evaluate the creditworthiness of existing and potential clients.
- Analyze financial transactions, credit history, and behavioral data.
- Draw conclusions and make data-driven risk decisions based on multiple data sources.
- Clearly communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and refine risk tools, processes, and products, enhancing monitoring and decision frameworks.
What you bring:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in analytical, risk, or operations-related roles
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills - a must
- Hands-on experience in credit or risk underwriting - an advantage
- Proven ability to analyze data, identify trends, and conduct investigative reviews
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- High proficiency in Excel and other MS Office tools (Outlook, Word, etc.)
- Highly organized, attentive to detail, yet able to see the big picture
- Self-driven, motivated, and adaptable - comfortable with changing priorities in a dynamic startup environment
- A collaborative team player with a positive, can-do attitude
You'll be working on-site from our Miami office, collaborating closely with our global Risk and Operations team.
